Vincent Breed’s artistic approach concerns the similarity of glass with human character. Through its apparent fragility and lightness, its ability to retain its natural transparency or to cultivate secrecy through a subtle play of opacity, this material ends up becoming a vector of light. Therefore, in the quest for identity which underlies his approach as a creative process for a permanent questioning of reality, the glass artist approaches glass as a contemporary art material and medium of plastic expression.
